General Tips for Summer Flowers

In case you did not know, choose late spring to plant the seeds of some easy to grow summer flowers. While on one hand the warmth of the soil promotes germination, the spring rains promote growth from the seedlings. There are plenty of summer flowers available.

Sunlight for at least six hours each day is needed for the summer flowers to grow profusely. For Southwest and desert climate zones, afternoon shade is recommended.
